azzouqa@fachdolmetscher.atI calculate every quote personally, based on the actual document or appointment. You know exactly what the service costs before you commit.
Arabic translation prices: why we quote individually
A one page birth certificate from Syria and a twenty page court judgment from Egypt are both Arabic documents, but they are not the same job. That is why this page does not list flat rates. Instead it explains how the price is made up, which services are included and how to get a binding quote quickly.
The quote itself arrives fast: you send us a scan or a photo, we check the length, legibility and requirements, and we normally get back to you within a few hours with a binding price and a delivery date. The enquiry is free and without obligation.
Certified translations by document type
For the most common certificates we quote per document, for longer texts per page or by volume. The price for your specific document is available on request, normally within a few hours.

Interpreting: hourly, half day, full day
Interpreting assignments are charged by time. The smallest unit is the hour, and for longer appointments there are half day and full day rates. Travel costs depend on the location and are itemised separately in the quote.

What influences the price
Five factors determine the price of a certified translation or an interpreting assignment. If you mention them in your enquiry, the quote will be more precise.
- Volume: the number of pages and words, and for certificates also the stamps, annotations and reverse sides that are translated as well.
- Document type: standard certificates are done quickly, while contracts, judgments, medical reports and technical texts require specialist terminology and more research.
- Urgency: standard delivery of certificates within one to three working days is included in the price. Express delivery is available on request and itemised separately.
- Certification and copies: certification is included. Additional certified copies for further authorities are charged on top.
- Travel and duration: for interpreting, the location, duration, time of day and whether travel to Graz or another province is needed all play a part.
What is included in the price
Every certified translation includes the following services in the quoted price:
- Translation by sworn and court certified translators.
- Certification with round seal, signature and certification clause.
- Checking the spelling of names against your passport.
- The translation as a PDF by e-mail in advance.
- Postal delivery of the original within Austria, or collection at Wagramer Straße 2, 1220 Vienna.
- Confidential, GDPR compliant handling, with a non disclosure agreement on request.
How to get a binding quote within a few hours
Send us your document as a scan or photo, several pages in one e-mail to office@fachdolmetscher.at or via the form are fine. Tell us what you need the translation for and by when. For interpreting appointments, the occasion, date, place and expected duration are enough.
You normally receive a binding quote with price and delivery date within a few hours. The quoted price stands. Additional costs only arise if you later order further pages, copies or services, and even then only after we have discussed it with you.
Payment and cost coverage
You receive an invoice for every service, which you settle by bank transfer. The invoice contains all the details you need to submit it to a third party or for your own accounting.
In some cases public authorities, the employment service (AMS), courts, insurers or social services cover the cost of translations and interpreting, for example when the office itself arranged the appointment or a grant supports the recognition of qualifications. Whether this applies to you is best clarified with the office concerned in advance. Once cost coverage has been confirmed, we issue the invoice to the responsible body as agreed.

Frequently asked questions about prices and quotes
What you should know about prices, payment and cost coverage.
Because no two Arabic documents are alike. Length, legibility, stamps and subject area vary a great deal, and a flat rate would be too high for some and would not cover the work for others. With your actual document we give you a binding price within a few hours.
Express delivery is itemised separately because it takes priority over other jobs. How much difference it makes depends on the document and the deadline you need. Ask us and we will tell you openly what is feasible.
In some cases, yes, for example when an authority orders the appointment itself or a funding body supports the translation of educational documents. It varies from case to case. Ask the office in advance and let us know if the invoice should go to a third party.
Send all documents together and we treat them as one job, bundling certification, dispatch and coordination. You see the result in the quote. It also lets us keep the spelling of names consistent across all your certificates.
Yes. The price stated in the quote applies to the job as described. Only if the scope changes, for example because you add further pages or copies, do we adjust the quote, and we agree it with you first.
By time: per hour, as a half day or as a full day, depending on the length of the appointment. For on site assignments outside Vienna, travel is added. Video interpreting involves no travel and is often the more economical option for short appointments.
You receive an invoice and pay by bank transfer. Companies, law firms and public bodies receive the invoice with all the details their accounts department needs. Other payment methods can be discussed on request.
Certified translations by sworn and court certified translators are recognised in Austria. Should an office nevertheless ask for an addition, such as an extra note, we take care of it. Simply contact us with the authority's feedback.
